A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a supportive school in Stretford. This role involves leading a KS1 class of 10 pupils, supported by three experienced Teaching Assistants, providing a strong staff-to-student ratio and a highly supportive classroom environment.

The school is looking for a teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and who can create an inclusive, structured and engaging learning environment where every child can succeed.

✨ Lead a KS1 SEND class of 10 pupils with the support of 3 Teaching Assistants
✨ Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
✨ Support pupils working towards EHCP targets
✨ Create a safe, nurturing and structured learning environment
✨ Work closely with support staff, SENCO and external professionals
✨ Monitor progress and celebrate pupils’ achievements
✨ Promote confidence, independence and positive behaviour

πŸŽ“ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
πŸ“š Experience working with pupils with SEND (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH or complex needs)
πŸ’‘ Creative, patient and adaptable teaching approach
πŸ‘₯ Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a small classroom team
πŸ“‹ Understanding of EHCPs and differentiated learning
