About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support detailed engineering across offshore topside projects, including brownfield modifications.
You will work within a specialist engineering team, coordinating subcontractors and internal disciplines to ensure delivery aligns with scope and standards. This position involves hands-on design, technical review, interface management, and overall engineering assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Interface with subcontractors and report to the Lead Engineer
- Coordinate across mechanical, piping, and installation teams
- Review engineering deliverables for compliance with project scope and standards
- Track milestones including IFC drawings and technical reviews
- Contribute to design documentation, models, and material selection
- Attend project, vendor, and engineering review meetings
- Support HAZID, HAZOP, and safety-focused design
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with LV, MV, HV systems and calculations
- Knowledge of electrical protection systems and grid/generator synchronisation
- Background in power system automation and integration
- Experience with 3D modelling, MTOs, and constructability reviews
- Experience in procurement/vendor packages (MR, RFQ, TBE, PR)
