Senior Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced engineer to join a major steel frame construction project in Newport. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to work on a large and fast-paced build, supporting key groundworks activities on site.
The successful engineer will work closely with the groundworks subcontractor and will play a vital role in ensuring works are carried out accurately and efficiently. The project in Newport is expected to run for approximately 6 months, offering consistent work on a significant steel frame development.
Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying for drainage and groundworks packages
*
Checking and installing bolt sets for the steel frame structure
*
Working closely with the groundworks subcontractor to coordinate works
*
Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and project specifications
*
Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress to the site team
Requirements:

Proven experience as a engineer on construction projects
*
Strong background in drainage, groundworks, and bolt set installation
*
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
*
Experience working with groundworks subcontractors on steel frame projects preferred
*
Relevant engineering qualifications and valid CSCS card
