* Ensuring projects have appropriate HSQE resource and cover at all times.
* Building strong working relationships with project leadership teams and acting as a trusted advisor on all HSQE matters.
The successful candidate will be an experienced HSE/HSQE Manager with a strong construction background and the confidence to operate across multiple live, high-profile schemes. You will be practical, commercially aware and capable of influencing people at every level, from site operatives and subcontractors through to senior project leadership.
You will ideally hold:
* NEBOSH National Certificate.
* NVQ Level 5 or Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice, or equivalent.
* At least five years’ experience within construction health and safety or a closely related site-based role.
* Strong working knowledge of UK construction health and safety legislation, audits, incident investigation and subcontractor management.
* Experience managing and developing HSQE personnel.
* Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder-management skills.
