We're recruiting an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join a fast-paced operational business undergoing significant transformation. This is a hands-on role for someone who can hit the ground running, confidently manage complex employee relations casework from day one and act as a trusted advisor to managers across the business. This role is based in Woking with Travel to other sites.

Description

Independently manage a high level of low level to complex employee relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
Provide pragmatic, commercially focused HR advice to managers across operational and corporate functions.
Coach managers through investigations, hearings, appeals and formal processes.
Support organisational change activity, including restructures, consultation and TUPE projects.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide practical solutions to people challenges.
Identify employment law and business risks, escalating where appropriate while recommending solutions.
Work closely with HR Business Partners to deliver wider People initiatives across the business.
Contribute to building management capability as the business continues its transformation journey.
Contribute to projects focused on employee engagement, capability and continuous improvement.

A successful Senior HR Advisor should have:

Proven experience in a busy operational environment.
Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision-this is not a development or step-up opportunity.
Extensive experience independently managing complex employee relations cases from start to finish.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and confidence advising managers on complex people issues.
Experience supporting organisational change, restructures and consultation activity
TUPE experience is highly advantageous.
Experience within facilities management, support services, logistics, transport, manufacturing, hospitality or similarly fast-paced operational environments.
Unionised environment is highly advantageous.
Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working in a business undergoing significant transformation.
Solutions-focused with the confidence to challenge and influence managers when required.

Job Offer

A salary up to 45K.
Hybrid working (3 days in the Woking office, 2 days from home).
