Senior Operational Risk Manager

My client is an established Financial Services provider based in the West Midlands. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Operational Risk Manager.

You will lead the embedding of the Operational Risk Management Framework and provide strong second-line oversight across the business.

Key responsibilities:

* Support embedding of the Operational Risk Framework and policies

* Lead production of risk reporting for Executive Committees

* Build trusted relationships with business areas, providing challenge and guidance

* Partner on Risk & Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) and control effectiveness reviews

* Conduct thematic risk reviews and help strengthen controls

* Lead Scenario Analysis and Operational Risk Capital assessment

* Deliver risk training and act as technical expert

* Support risk framework enhancement projects

Requirements:

* Proven Operational Risk experience, banking desirable although not essential

* Strong analytical and project management skills

* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint for senior-level reporting

* Confident communicator with excellent written skills and attention to detail

* Relevant qualification or equivalent experience

* Competencies: influencing, strategic judgement, execution focus, proactivity, confident communication
