Apply NowFollowing sustained growth and expansion, a global manufacturer of engineered products supplied to the Aerospace, Automotive, Defence and Energy sectors has a new vacancy for a Senior Quality Engineer. You will be responsible for ensuring products meet with customer requirements, continuous improvement and the development of the Quality Management System.
The Role
Undertake short-medium-long term projects/quality activities to improve process efficiency.
Plan and carry out internal audits, reporting and analyse results
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Work closely with engineering & production teams to improve product quality.
Develop a good working relationship with customers on product launches and improvements.
Develop and maintain the QMS (Quality Management System).
Support New Product Introduction and Advance Product Quality Planning.
Uphold processes that ensure health, safety and environmental best practices.
The Person
Proven experience in a quality function within a highly regulated and fast paced manufacturing environment (aerospace, automotive, defence, energy).
Working knowledge/implementation of zero-defect tools
Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A good understand of quality control standards and methodologies
