3 – 6 MONTH CONTRACT INSIDE IR35
Our client is a Main Contractor within the water sector, and they are currently recruiting for a Contract Senior QS to work in Berkshire & Oxfordshire for 3-6 months on the Thames Water Framework. The initial project is to deliver the commercials on a £5m project, implementing new services and diversions (clean and foul), comprising on civils and pipework. The Senior QS should have experience of NEC3/4 contracts and be from a civil engineering background. Having previously worked within the water sector would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
* Valuations
* Cost planning & change control
* Subcontractor payments
* CVR’s
* Monthly commercial forecasting/reporting
* Cash flow & progress reporting
* Final accounts and audits
Skills & qualifications:
* BEng/HNC in Quantity Surveying or by experience
* A background in the delivery of civil engineering projects
* Water and/or wastewater experience advantageous
* Good working knowledge and understanding of NEC3/4 contracts
