Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, we are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of diverse and technically challenging projects. You will lead structural design work, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver structural engineering designs across a range of sectors (residential, commercial, industrial, education, etc.)

Manage projects from concept through to completion

Produce calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports

Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Contribute to business development and client relationship management

About You

Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering

Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership (IStructE or ICE)

Strong experience in structural design using materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry

Proficiency in industry software (e.g. Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, Robot, ETABS or similar)

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Strong understanding of UK design standards and regulations

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
