Sheq Advisor
Key Responsibilities
*
Provide competent advice and guidance on all SHEQ matters
*
Ensure compliance with UK health & safety legislation and industry standards
*
Support the development and implementation of SHEQ policies and procedures
*
Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
*
Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances, producing detailed reports and corrective actions
*
Lead toolbox talks and internal training sessions
*
Maintain ISO management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
*
Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
*
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business
About You
*
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) – desired
*
Proven experience in a SHEQ / HSE role within construction, engineering, or fire protection
*
Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
*
Experience with Working at Heights
*
Proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
