Shift Engineer
Location: Kings Cross, London
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Working Hours: Continental Shift Pattern – Days & Nights (7:00am–7:00pm / 7:00pm–7:00am)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join the engineering team at a high-spec corporate and critical environment building in Central London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a modern, technically advanced site, supporting critical systems and laboratory environments.
The Role:
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works.
• Supporting electrical or mechanical systems across a critical environment.
• Working on HVAC plant, electrical systems and associated building services.
• Ensuring compliance with all health & safety and site procedures.
• Working as part of a 2-person shift team (Shift Lead & Shift Technician).
• Supporting day-to-day operations across a multi-floor commercial building.
The Site:
• Modern corporate/critical building (10 floors)
• Laboratory environments supporting specialist operations
• Multiple shift teams on site ensuring 24/7 coverage
Package:
• £50,000 basic salary
• Continental shift pattern (days and nights – 7–7)

Requirements:
• Electrical or Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
• Experience within building services or critical environments desirable.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a shift team.
