Apply NowA well-established and growing food manufacturing business supplying major UK retailers is looking to appoint a Shift Production Manager to lead production operations on a busy manufacturing site.
This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality production across the shift, managing teams on the factory floor while delivering against output, quality and safety targets.
Working on a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, you will play a key role in driving operational performance within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage production teams across the shift, ensuring operational targets are achieved
* Deliver production plans while maintaining quality, safety and efficiency standards
* Drive a strong health & safety and food safety culture across the factory
* Monitor and improve line performance, labour utilisation and waste reduction
* Work closely with Engineering, Technical and Planning teams to maximise productivity
* Ensure production areas operate in line with BRCGS, HACCP and retailer standards
* Coach and develop team leaders and supervisors within the shift structure
* Manage shift handovers and ensure effective communication between teams
About You
We are looking for an experienced production leader from a food manufacturing or FMCG environment who is comfortable managing large teams within fast-paced operations.
You may currently be working as:

* Operations Shift Manager
Experience required:
* Proven leadership experience within food manufacturing or FMCG production
* Strong people management and team development skills
* Experience managing high-volume production lines
* Good understanding of food safety, BRCGS and HACCP standards
* Ability to drive performance and continuous improvement
