Job Title: Site Manager – High-End

Location: Hereford, HR1
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality, high-end developments in the Hereford area. This role requires a strong background in premium housebuilding, with a focus on delivering exceptional finishes, tight programme control, and uncompromising standards of quality and health & safety.

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring build programmes are achieved, and maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundwork through to final handover
Manage subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and programme compliance
Drive the build programme, identifying and resolving delays proactively
Ensure all works meet high-end residential quality standards and specifications
Conduct regular site inspections and enforce strict health & safety compliance
Coordinate materials, logistics, and site resources efficiently
Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and client representatives
Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates
Manage snagging, inspections, and final handover processes
Promote a positive, productive, and safe site culture

Key Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager within high-end housebuilding
Strong understanding of traditional and modern construction methods
Track record of delivering luxury or bespoke residential projects
Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification
Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
Excellent attention to detail and quality control
Ability to manage multiple trades and tight programmes
Strong communication and reporting skills
Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience

Experience working on luxury housing developments or bespoke residential builds
Familiarity with timber frame, traditional masonry, or mixed-method construction
Experience managing sites from foundation to completion in live environments
