Apply NowGVR Solutions are working with a well-established specialist carpentry and joinery fit-out contractor, delivering high-quality projects across London and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in high-end carpentry, joinery, interiors or specialist fit-out who is looking to take responsibility for delivering projects to a high standard.
Responsibilities of the Site Manager:
* Managing the day-to-day running of projects on site
* Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site teams
* Managing programme, sequencing and progress of works
* Ensuring all works are completed to the required quality standards
* Maintaining a strong focus on health & safety and site compliance
* Liaising with clients, contractors, designers and other project stakeholders
* Monitoring materials, deliveries and site logistics
* Identifying and resolving issues on site
* Attending site meetings and providing regular progress updates
* Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within agreed requirements
* Maintaining a clean, organised and professional site environment
The Site Manager must have/be:
* Previous experience as a Site Manager within fit-out, interiors, carpentry or joinery
* Strong knowledge of construction site processes and sequencing
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* The ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
* A strong understanding of health & safety requirements
* Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
* The ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
* A professional approach when dealing with clients and project teams
