We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a project based at a school in Southampton.
Please note: Due to the nature of the site, candidates must hold an Enhanced DBS check. Applicants without the required DBS clearance will not be considered.
The project involves a programme of roof repairs and internal refurbishment works within a live school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.
Project details:
* Location: Southampton

* Duration: Immediate start through to September
Site Manager Key responsibilities:
* Managing subcontractors and site operations
* Ensuring health and safety compliance at all times
* Maintaining site records and completing relevant paperwork
* Coordinating works to meet programme deadlines
* Liaising with the client, contractors, and site teams
Site Manager Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects
* Previous experience working in school, public sector, or similar environments is desirable
* Valid Enhanced DBS clearance (essential)
* SMSTS
* 1st Aid
* CSCS
* Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures
* Good communication and organisational skills
