Location: Peterborough
Rate: £250 per day
Hours: Days - 7:30am to 5:00pm
Duration: 10 weeks
Start Date: Monday 15th June
Finish Date: Friday 21st August
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 10‑week programme. The successful candidate will manage fire door replacement works, coordinate labour and subcontractors, and ensure all site activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the replacement of approximately 150 fire doors, including all associated making‑good works
Ensure all works comply with fire door regulations and quality standards
Manage documentation, including completing and obtaining permits
Conduct daily site checks and produce daily reports
Oversee plant management and subcontractor performance
Coordinate labour and maintain smooth workflow on site
Required Qualifications
SMSTS
CSCS Management Card
First Aid Certification
Person Specification
Strong knowledge and experience with fire door installations
Confident in completing and obtaining permits
Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
