On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a number of Skilled CNC Machinists for a 12 months contract based in Derby.
Job description - the role
What you'll do:
Follow technical instructions and program manuals to deliver consistent, high-
quality machining across a variety of different components and product families.
Operate a variety of Inspection equipment, both mechanical and electronic.
Interpret manufacturing drawings, customer drawings and written specifications.
Assessment of whether the quality of components produced meet required
standards.
Effective team work to resolve quality issues and ensure work is being completed
to plan.
Scope to train and work across a variety of machinesThe skills you'll need:
Applicants must have a time served advanced apprenticeship with a minimum of
City & Guilds Level 3, National Vocational Qualification (NVQ)/Scottish Vocational
Qualification (SVQ) Level 3 or equivalent. To support your application please attach a copy of your certificate as proof of completing a recognised apprenticeship together with your CV.
Experience with aerospace components would be preferable.
Clear and demonstrated understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration,
dimensional and visual inspection.
Pro-active, patient, capable of managing time effectively.Next steps
