Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, delivery and evaluation of social work training and development programmes

Coordinate and oversee ASYE programmes and support early career social workers

Provide mentoring, coaching and support to social workers, students and practice educators

Undertake training needs analysis and contribute to workforce development planning

Quality assure internal and external training provision

Work collaboratively with partner agencies, including universities and training providers

Support placement provision and monitor student progress and performance

Lead and contribute to projects aligned to local and national workforce development priorities

Produce reports and performance data to support service improvement

Advise senior managers on social work education and continuous improvement

Essential Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker (Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent)

Current registration with Social Work England

Stage 2 Practice Educator (PEP) qualification

Strong knowledge of social work education, ASYE and workforce development frameworks

Experience delivering and evaluating training programmes

Excellent communication, stakeholder management and report writing skills

Ability to work collaboratively across organisations and influence at senior level

Desirable:

Recent experience supporting or assessing social work students or practice educators

Experience within Adult or Children's Social Care education frameworks

Additional Information:

Full-time or part-time considered

Grade: N9
