Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
The Role
Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a variety of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
Support teachers and SENCOs in implementing personalised learning strategies and education plans.
Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Encourage pupils' social, emotional, and sensory development.
Assist with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and inclusive learning practices.
About You
Calm, compassionate, and adaptable, with a genuine interest in SEN support.
Confident working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents.
Experience working with children with SEN or additional needs is highly beneficial.
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
