Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a supported living service in Yeovil, providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.

This is a consistent weekend role, offering long day shifts every Saturday and Sunday, ideal for candidates seeking regular, ongoing work.

The Role:

Supporting individuals within a supported living environment

Promoting independence, choice, and dignity at all times

*

Assisting with daily living tasks such as cooking, personal care, and household activities

*

Encouraging community engagement and routine

*

Delivering person-centred support tailored to individual needs

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a support worker or care role (learning disabilities preferred)

*

A strong understanding of promoting independence

*

Reliable, committed, and able to work consistent weekends

*

Good communication and interpersonal skills
