Apply NowI’ve partnered with a reputable construction contractor, looking for a Sustainability Manager to join their operation. Based out of their Bristol office, this role focuses on driving high technical standards, embedding sustainability into project delivery, and supporting their internal teams and supply chain to meet both company expectations and client requirements.
This is a hybrid role tailored to supporting their growing South West division, requiring a mix of office coordination, site visibility, and team collaboration
Key Responsibilities include:
• Leading sustainability requirements across assigned projects, ensuring compliance with client expectations
• Overseeing BREEAM strategies, assessments, and delivery to ensure early integration into design.
• Guiding project teams on embodied carbon reduction
• Leading social value delivery and reporting across projects, working closely with project teams and community partners.
• Contributing to pre-construction activities, including developing sustainability strategies for bids and tenders.
The ideal candidate will have experience in BREEAM, embodied Carbon & Whole Life Carbon Assessments (Essential) and circular Economy principles & materials strategy.
Key competencies include:
• Experience working in a sustainability role within the construction industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of BREEAM and embodied carbon
• Experience engaging with project teams, design teams, and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Qualification in environmental disciplines
