Location – Bristol
Salary – Up to £57,000 (plus benefits)
Copello are seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Functional Development team supporting the growing portfolio for a defence organisation based in Bristol on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Chief Systems Engineer, you will contribute across requirements engineering, certification, and programme support, with opportunities to gain experience in multiple areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Derive system, subsystem and software requirements from customer needs.
* Support system design, technical studies and requirements management.
* Contribute to certification activities, including evidence capture, technical investigations and Certificate of Design delivery.
* Support programme delivery, bid activities and stakeholder engagement, including the Poland programme.
* Undertake engineering change management, trade studies and system development activities.
Skills & Experience
* Systems engineering experience, ideally within the defence sector.
* Experience in requirements management and systems engineering tools (e.g. DOORS, DOORS NG, Rhapsody).
* Ability to communicate complex technical information to a range of stakeholders.
* Experience of engineering change management and complex systems development.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Product line experience is advantageous.
