Systems Engineering Manager

We’re looking for a Systems Engineering Manager to lead multi-discipline engineering teams delivering complex technical projects. This role will be based on site in Maidenhead.

Please note candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance.

You’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and assuring engineering delivery across the full lifecycle, ensuring outcomes meet cost, schedule, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage engineering delivery across one or more projects

* Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and allocate work packages

* Ensure projects follow a structured systems engineering lifecycle

* Own engineering scope, schedule, budget, and risk management

* Oversee delivery of engineering artefacts to agreed quality and governance levels

* Identify and manage technical and delivery risks

* Support planning, resourcing, and reporting activities

* Manage change impact, dependencies, and delivery priorities

* Act as the engineering point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

* Strong experience in systems engineering across the full lifecycle

* Proven leadership of engineering teams (10+ people preferred)

* Experience delivering complex, regulated or safety-critical systems

* Solid understanding of planning, estimation, and delivery governance

* Comfortable working with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers

* Able to balance technical oversight with delivery management
