You will collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support staff to implement strategies that promote the pupil's academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
This role would suit someone who is patient, resilient, and passionate about making a real difference to a child's school experience. Previous experience supporting pupils with SEMH, SEND, or behavioural needs is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Adapting activities to meet individual learning needs
Working collaboratively with school staff and external professionals
The school requires a Teaching Assistant Qualification or Degree certificate as a minimum.
If you are enthusiastic about supporting children with additional needs and are looking for a rewarding role with long-term potential, we would love to hear from you. Please apply with a recent CV and one of our consultants will be in touch within 2 working days.
