Experienced Teaching Assistant - SEN Support | Secondary School | Hounslow

A well-regarded secondary school in Hounslow is recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant to support students with additional learning needs.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver structured support for students with ASD, SEMH, and ADHD. This school in Hounslow has a strong focus on inclusive education and staff development.

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support
Assist teachers with classroom planning
Support behaviour management strategies
Record student progress and liaise with professionals

Requirements

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or SEN support worker
Knowledge of SEN strategies in secondary education
Calm, patient, and proactive
Excellent communication and teamwork
