Teaching Assistant - Kettering

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school in Kettering. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support learning in the classroom, assist students with their academic development, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning.

Assist with classroom preparation and the organisation of learning resources.

Encourage student participation, confidence, and independence.

Support students with a range of learning abilities and needs.

Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Experience working with children or young people, preferably within a school setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A positive, patient, and proactive approach.

The ability to build effective relationships with students and staff.

A genuine passion for supporting young people in their learning and development.

Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or support work are desirable but not essential.
