We are seeking enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school community within a successful multi-academy trust in the Leicester area. The organisation is committed to high standards, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils throughout the school day, helping them to achieve their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.

Typical Responsibilities

* Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

* Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.

* Assisting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum activities.

* Supporting children with SEND, EAL, and additional learning needs.

* Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting independence.

* Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and social skills.

* Supervising pupils during breaktimes and lunchtimes.

* Supporting emotional wellbeing and safeguarding children at all times.

* Preparing classroom resources and learning materials.

* Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teachers.

* Assisting with intervention programmes and targeted support sessions.

* Contributing to a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

We're Looking For Someone Who

* Has a genuine passion for working with children.

* Is patient, caring, and approachable.

* Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

* Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* Is flexible, resilient, and able to adapt to different situations.

* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

* Has previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential).

* Holds a Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant training (desirable).
