⭐ About the Role

As Team Leader, you will guide and support a dedicated staff team, ensuring the home provides a safe, nurturing, child‑centred environment. You’ll lead shifts, mentor staff, and uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, OFSTED compliance, and therapeutic care.

This role suits someone with experience in:

Children’s Residential Homes

EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties)

Young People’s Services

Supported Living for Children & Young People

OFSTED‑regulated care

⭐ Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and motivate your team with consistency and compassion

Ensure high‑quality care aligned with OFSTED regulations and safeguarding standards

Build trusted relationships with young people, families, social workers, and external agencies

Champion best practice in care planning, risk management, and reporting

Promote a positive, stable, homely environment where young people can thrive

Support continuous improvement and contribute to the home’s long‑term success

⭐ What You’ll Need

Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential

Experience working in a Children’s Residential Home

Strong understanding of OFSTED standards, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks

A driving licence is strongly preferred

Confident leading shifts and supporting junior staff

Passionate about improving outcomes for young people
