Technical Inside Sales Engineer
This position has been created as part of a wider investment into technical capability and supporting planned team growth through the year. The focus of the role is firmly on HVAC application support and technical problem-solving, rather than transactional sales.
The Role - Technical Inside Sales Engineer
Reporting into the Technical Manager, you’ll act as a key technical point of contact for customers and the external sales team, providing detailed HVAC application support across a wide range of enquiries.
Responsibilities will include:
* Responding to technical HVAC enquiries throughout the day from customers and internal stakeholders
* Supporting external sales with applications, quotations, schematics and technical recommendations
* Reviewing system designs and advising on best-fit solutions for specific applications
* Running through HVAC applications and explaining how systems and individual components operate
* Delivering technical product training to customers and internal teams
* Attending customer meetings and site surveys where required
* Supporting and managing lower-spend accounts internally as part of the wider team
Ideal Candidate:
You’ll come from a strong HVAC background with proven application knowledge and the ability to explain how systems operate at a detailed, component level. As the technical team continues to grow, you’ll be able to support more junior engineers and confidently present technical information to customers.
Package:
* Salary up to £60K (DOE)
* 7% bonus, £7K Car allowance, Private Healthcare
* Flexibility for Hybrid working – Office in Surrey
