The business is investing heavily in innovation and is now looking for a Technical Manager to lead R&D activity and support the development of new and existing materials as it enters a period of growth.
Reporting to the Group CEO, you will sit at the centre of the technical function, driving product development, testing and material innovation.
Key responsibilities
* Lead R&D and technical development activity
* Support new product introduction and validation
* Manage testing programmes and material performance analysis
* Work closely with engineering, quality and commercial teams
You will also play a key role in developing and improving a flagship nonwoven material technology, ensuring performance, cost and sustainability targets are met.
What we’re looking for
* Experience in materials, engineering or manufacturing environments
* Knowledge of nonwovens, fibres or insulation materials (desirable)
* Strong problem-solving and technical delivery skills
* Ability to work across multiple functions and stakeholders
