Location – Mildenhall, Suffolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hours
Capacity of role – Permanent position
Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Our client is a reputable and prestigious manufacturer who is looking to expand their team with an addition to their management team.
Main duties will include but not limit to –
Manage all technical aspects of the production process, inclusive of all of the machines and equipment
Solve component machining issues as and when necessary with the assistance of the team
Assist and work closely with the Production Supervisor in motivate and driving forward the Department to meet the output requirements.
Provide technical training to any and all members
Liaise with production control on the requirements of the department.
Assist service engineer visits for the equipment
Investigate and where possible offer suggestions for process improvements and/or cost reductions
Drive forward improvements to completion
Assist production when necessary to maintain production output.
Provide assistance as and when required to any and all members
Candidate attributes –
Technically competent with Machines and Equipment.
Experience of working with a Production team in a 24/7, or at the very least, a shift type manufacturing environment.
At least 5-10 years’ experience of working in a high output production environment.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and be able to solve Technical issues which may be encountered with Lathe Machines and Equipment.
Familiar with ISO 9001:2015, organised and most importantly, be willing to go the extra mile.
Required to work outside of normal working hours to spend time with each shift on a regular basis.
