Technical Support Engineer (2nd Line) | £35k–£45k | Remote (UK) | eCommerce/ERP/Cloud Tech

Join a growing, well-established business supporting a nationwide network of users through a diverse and evolving technology landscape. We’re looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join a fully remote team, working across a mix of cloud platforms, eCommerce systems, and internal applications.

This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll be supporting around 500 users, troubleshooting across multiple systems, and contributing to ongoing improvements across the tech stack. You’ll work closely with internal teams, taking ownership of issues end-to-end while building expertise across modern platforms, including ERP, web technologies, and AI tools.

What You’ll Do

Provide 2nd line support to a fully remote user base, resolving issues efficiently and professionally
Troubleshoot across business-critical systems, including ERP and eCommerce platforms
Investigate issues across DNS, networking, and system configurations
Work with Excel and CSV data for reporting, troubleshooting, and data handling
Support and optimise AI tools and integrations across the business
Assist with testing, releases, and improvements on internal systems and applications
Diagnose and resolve issues across web-based platforms (including HTML)
Handle security-related queries and incidents, following best practices
Support onboarding of new users, including device setup and access provisioning
Document fixes, processes, and technical knowledge for internal use
What We’re Looking For

5+ years’ experience in a 2nd line support or similar technical role
Strong experience supporting remote users (ideally within Microsoft 365 environments)
Experience with ERP and/or eCommerce platforms (e.g. NetSuite, Shopify, or similar)
Solid understanding of DNS, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting
Basic knowledge of HTML and web technologies
Experience with endpoint security or antivirus solutions
Experience with system testing, deployments, and user onboarding
Strong understanding of IT security principles
