Hull
£15–£20 per hour (DOE) + Overtime
38 hours per week | Monday–Friday (08:00–16:30)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Thermal Insulation Engineer / Lagger to join a well-established contractor working across industrial and commercial sites in the region.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality insulation and cladding work, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
The Role
Installation of insulation to pipework, ductwork, vessels, tanks, valves and flanges
Working with materials such as mineral wool, fiberglass, phenolic foam and nitrile rubber
Fabrication and installation of metal cladding (aluminium, stainless steel, galvanised)
Ensuring all systems are correctly fitted, sealed, and weatherproofed
Carrying out inspections, maintenance and remedial work
Working from technical drawings and specifications
Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Thermal Insulation Engineer / Lagger
Valid CSCS Card (essential)
Strong knowledge of insulation systems and cladding techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of site health & safety procedures
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience in sheet metal / cladding fabrication (desirable)
