Role – Toolmaker position
Location – Mildenhall, Suffolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday - 08.00 – 17.00
Capacity of role – Permanent position
Salary – Paying up to £42,000 per annum.

Our client is currently recruiting for a toolmaker to join their busy manufacturing unit.
This role is a hands on position that is focussing on the manufacture, maintenance and improvement of production tooling in a supportive and forward thinking environment.
Main duties will include -
 Manufacture, modify, repair, and maintain production tooling and fixtures
 Work with traditional tool room and workshop machinery
 Support production by troubleshooting tooling issues and implementing improvements
 Assist with tooling trials, testing, and fault finding
 Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure tooling reliability and longevity
 Maintain accurate documentation relating to tooling and maintenance activities
 Work within ISO quality and regulatory standards
 Attend occasional UK/international travel for project-related work
 Participate in relevant training courses to support ongoing development

Candidate attributes -
• Proven experience working as a Toolmaker or within a toolroom environment
• Experience using toolroom/workshop-based machinery
• A qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Toolmaking, or equivalent hands-on experience
• A proactive, self-motivated attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Confidence with written and verbal communication, including MS Office
