Blackstone Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager on behalf of a well-established business based in Redditch.
This is an excellent opportunity for a transport professional looking to join a growing organisation and play a key role in the day-to-day management of transport operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily transport operation
* Ensure compliance with Operator Licence requirements
* Manage driver performance, compliance and scheduling
* Monitor driver hours, tachographs and Working Time Regulations
* Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance
* Liaise with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders
* Support fleet management and vehicle utilisation
* Drive operational efficiency and service performance
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Transport Manager or in a similar transport leadership role
* Strong understanding of transport legislation and compliance
* Knowledge of driver hours, tachographs and Operator Licence requirements
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* CPC qualification desirable
