Gecko Travel Recruitment is working with a high-end luxury travel business who are looking for a Luxury Travel Advisor - Groups to join their team. This is a newly created role offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced travel professional.
The Role
As a Luxury Travel Advisor, you will be responsible for managing group travel enquiries from initial contact through to confirmation. These groups may include wedding parties, family celebrations or a corporate event. This is a hands-on travel planning role, where you'll liaise with hotel partners negotiating exclusive rates for the group to include added value benefits, and managing the administration behind each reservation.
You Will Have
* Minimum of 5 years' experience working in Group Travel; luxury travel is essential
* Experience of contracting hotel rates and special offers
* Experience of working with DMC's
* Tailormade travel planning background
* Excellent commercial acumen
* Amadeus GDS experience
Additional Information
* Salary £40,000 to £45,000 DOE
* Office based role in Central London with 1 day a week working from home
* 22 days annual leave, plus birthday off
* Bupa after 1 year of service
