Apply NowWe are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Van Sales Executive position at their multi-franchise commercial vehicle dealership in Cardiff. This role is ideal for individuals with a proven background in Van or Light Commercial Vehicle sales and experience in business development. The Van Sales Executive will be responsible for driving new and used van sales, providing excellent customer service, and identifying additional sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
Benefits:
Basic salary of £27,500 per annum
On-target earnings potential of £60,000+ in the first year
Company car or car allowance
Access to a comprehensive training programme, including manufacturer-approved courses
Full in-house training and ongoing development
22 days annual holiday plus bank holidays (with time off in lieu for bank holiday work)
Company pension scheme
Mobile phone and laptop provided
Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 3 Saturday morningsDuties:
Promote and sell new and used vans to develop the dealership’s customer base
Generate sales through business development, nurturing existing contacts and establishing new client relationships
Advise customers on vehicle features, warranties, service plans, and financing options
Respond promptly to customer inquiries, keeping clients informed of delivery and potential delays
Collect payments and handle documentation efficiently as the Van Sales Executive
Introduce customers to aftersales services and demonstrate vehicle features to maximise customer satisfaction
Ensure all sales are compliant with dealership policies and procedures
Work closely with the sales team to achieve individual and dealership sales targetsRequirements:
Proven experience in Van or Light Commercial Vehicle sales
Strong customer service skills with a positive and proactive attitude
Minimum one year’s experience working within a motor trade environment
Existing customer or contact base in the Cardiff area is desirable
Excellent communication and negotiation skills as the Van Sales Executive
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence with minimal points
