Apply NowAs a Cosmetic Vehicle Inspector, you will join an experienced team responsible for the critical first stage of each vehicle’s journey before it becomes available for sale. Your main focus will be inspecting newly arrived vehicles and identifying the cosmetic repairs required to bring them up to customer-ready standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out detailed cosmetic inspections to identify and record damage.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date inspection records within internal systems.
* Work efficiently to meet daily and weekly deadlines.
* Complete all tasks within allotted timeframes.
* Support the smooth operation of the department through occasional ad‑hoc duties.
* Build and maintain positive and professional working relationships with colleagues.
Skills, Experience & Personal Qualities
* Experience in quality check inspections – Essential
* Aged 21+ with a full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years – required for insurance purposes
* Willingness to support junior technicians and share knowledge
* Passionate about the motor industry with strong pride in quality workmanship
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions when required
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
