Our client, a respected dealership in Bishop Stortford, is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. * Competitive basic salary of up to £46,000 with an uncapped OTE of approximately £49,000
* Ongoing manufacturer training including hybrid and electric vehicle accreditation

* Regular working hours, Monday to Friday, with every third Saturday morning
* Opportunity to work with both new and used vehicles, conducting quality checks and repairs
Duties:
* Conduct vehicle health checks and comprehensive pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
* Perform routine servicing and repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, including fault finding
* Fit accessories and address customer-requested modifications as a Vehicle Technician
* Complete documentation accurately, ensuring compliance with warranty and service procedures
* Road test vehicles to verify fault resolution and operational safety
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a franchise dealership or independent garage
* Full UK driving licence
* Self-motivated with a keen eye for quality, attention to detail, and accuracy
* Ability to work effectively within a team and a willingness to develop further skills
* Knowledge or experience with diagnostics, MOT testing, and electric vehicles is desirable but not essential
