Warehouse Packer

Active Staff are proud to be working with our client who are on the lookout for a Warehouse Packer to join the distribution team. The role of the Warehouse packer will be to ensure timely, accurate and safe preparation and despatch of goods to customers.

Responsibilities for the Warehouse Packer:

* Pick, pack and despatch products in line with sales orders and shipping documentation to meet customer orders

* Verify quantities, part numbers and condition of goods prior to despatch

* Ensure correct packaging methods to protect and prevent damage to products

* Label, palletise and securely pack products for despatch

* Complete despatch paperwork and update Warehouse ERP system

* Report discrepancies, damages or issues to the correct department prior shipping

The person for the Warehouse Packer:

* Ability to be on your feet all day and lift up to 25kg

* Previous Warehouse experience

* Computer/IT literate

* Attention to detail and reliability is essential.

* Good written English and understanding of weight for distribution and packaging
