About the Role
Our client are looking for an experienced Working Foreman to join our growing team delivering high-end residential projects across London. This role is ideal for a hands-on foreman with a strong carpentry background who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and can lead by example on site.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations reporting into a contracts manager while also being actively involved in the work, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to the highest standard, and in line with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily site operations on high-end residential projects
*
Lead and coordinate subcontractors and trades on site
*
Carry out hands-on carpentry work when required
*
Ensure all works are completed to a high standard of finish
*
Maintain site health & safety and ensure compliance with regulations
*
Liaise with project managers, designers, and clients where required
*
Manage site logistics, materials, and deliveries
*
Maintain programme and ensure deadlines are met
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Working Foreman or Senior Carpenter on high-end residential projects
*
Strong carpentry background with excellent attention to detail
*
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
*
Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating trades
*
Strong organisational and communication skills
*
Valid CSCS card (SSSTS or SMSTS preferred)
*
First Aid
*
Reliable, professional, and quality-focused
