Workshop Engineer
You will support in the manufacture of security equipment, such as gates, turnstiles and bollards. Each day will be different, working all over the workshop, this includes;
Mechanical - safety edges, hydraulic hoses and chains, prepping hinges, light welding for base plates.
Electrical - Working on control panels and general wiring
Quality – Nine point force tests, faulty diagnosis and compliance paperwork
The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical background, you may have worked as a Workshop Technician, or Mechanical Technician.
We welcome applications from Maintenance Engineers, Fitter, Service Engineers, Fabrication Engineers, Mechanics, general Mechanical Assembly or similar.
Pay & Benefits: You will receive a salary of £35,000 rising to £38,000 after probation. A Monday-Friday working week. Optional overtime, paid at 1.5 times. 28 days holiday, free onsite parking, solid pension and ongoing personal training and development
