Supply Heroes are recruiting on behalf of an Outstanding primary school in North Birmingham for a strong Year 5/6 Teacher with the potential to take on an Assistant Headteacher role.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher looking to step into leadership, with a 50% teaching timetable alongside leadership responsibilities. The school follows a strong religious ethos and is looking for someone who will positively contribute to the values and wider school community.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

* Teach a Year 5/6 class as part of a 50% teaching timetable

* Support the leadership team as a potential Assistant Headteacher

* Help drive high standards of teaching and learning across Key Stage 2

* Support staff development and contribute to the wider school improvement

* Promote the school’s values and ethos

The Ideal Candidate

Supply Heroes are looking for someone who:

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Has successfully completed their ECT induction

* Has strong experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5/6)

* Demonstrates strong leadership potential

* Is committed to contributing to the school’s religious ethos and values
