Youth Worker
Salary: £90-£110 per day

Are you a youth worker or someone keen to support children in the classroom? Are you eager to make a real difference in schools? Thrive Education is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to support teaching staff and work closely with pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
This is an excellent opportunity for those with experience supporting young people to bring their skills into the classroom, help create a positive learning environment, and encourage student engagement and behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide consistent support to students, particularly those with behavioural or additional learning needs, promoting inclusion and positive progress.

Encourage pupils to develop confidence, resilience, and independence in both learning and everyday interactions.
*
Support the development of essential life skills such as communication, teamwork, and emotional regulation.
*
Serve as a positive role model, promoting respect, self-confidence, and appropriate behaviour.
*
Build strong, trusting relationships with students, helping them feel safe, valued, and motivated.
Person Specification:

Experience working with children or young people (e.g., youth work, sports coaching, or behaviour mentoring).
*
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*
Ability to manage behaviour effectively while maintaining a supportive learning environment.
*
Flexible, reliable, and adaptable across different classroom settings.

A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
