Floating Support Worker

We have an opportunity available for a Support Worker to join the Cheshire East Supported Living service. This is a floating support position which involves providing support within the community across Crewe, Sandbach, Middlewich and surrounding areas. The team supports adults within the community with various support needs.

Salary: £13.12 per hour
Hours: 39 hour contract and 21 hour contract available.

Responsibilities

Looking for a job where you can make a real difference in people's lives?

Your days will be varied and could include: supporting people to access the community, helping them find volunteering opportunities or employment, supporting benefit applications, helping them manage debts, building budgeting skills and promoting social inclusion.

We're not too concerned about qualifications for this role; we're more interested in your values and how you build relationships with the people who draw on our support and fellow colleagues. If you're the type of person who finds joy in the little moments of life , then we want to hear from you!

Qualifications

It’s important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
