Head of Benefits & Pensions Operations (Global)

📍 London (Hybrid – 3 days office)
💰 £100,000–£130,000
Contract: 9-month FTC

The Role

A senior global leadership role responsible for overseeing benefits and pensions operations across multiple regions during a critical period.

You will take ownership of UK and US benefits delivery, lead a global team, and ensure seamless operations while driving strategic alignment, system integration, and improvements across the function.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead global benefits and pensions operations across UK, US, and wider regions

* Oversee annual benefits enrolment (UK & US) and ensure smooth delivery

* Manage and develop an international team

* Drive global alignment of benefits programmes and vendor strategy

* Lead benefits activity within M&A and transformation projects

* Act as benefits lead on Workday integration and system changes

* Manage vendor relationships, brokers, and external providers

* Ensure compliance with global regulations and governance standards

* Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and senior stakeholders

* Deliver strong colleague experience and communication across benefits

The Ideal Candidate

* Extensive global benefits and pensions leadership experience

* Strong UK and US benefits knowledge (essential)

* Proven experience managing international teams

* Background in large, complex, multi-region organisations

* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

* Experience in transformation, M&A, and change environments

* Familiarity with Workday and benefits platforms (e.g. AON, Bswift)

* Hands-on, proactive leader able to operate in a fast-paced environment

* Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills
