Learning support assistant
The role will involve providing 1:1 and small-group support, assisting pupils with classroom activities and helping them access a broad and engaging curriculum. You may support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication difficulties, complex learning needs and challenging behaviour, adapting your approach to suit individual needs and following established support strategies.
The successful candidate will be patient, resilient, compassionate and adaptable, with the ability to build positive relationships while maintaining consistent boundaries and expectations. Previous experience within an SEN, specialist or education setting is highly desirable, particularly where candidates have supported pupils with complex needs or behavioural challenges. The role offers the opportunity to become a key part of the school team and make a meaningful difference to pupils' learning, wellbeing and personal development.
