Nursery Practitioner
Key responsibilities:
* To work as part of the Nursery team to effectively deliver the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interests of children in the setting are met
* To plan and provide a safe, stimulating, rich learning environment which recognises the individual needs of the child
* To maintain accurate records of key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers, and other key adults in the child’s life
* To develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate day to day caring and the identification of early learning needs
* To be responsible for reporting any concerns regarding the welfare and safety of the children in the nursery
* To plan and supervise a range of outings for the children
* To ensure good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times
Requirements:
* A recognised qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare Level 3
* Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
* A genuine love for working with children and a deep belief in the power of early learning through play
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Annual Leave: 28 days including Bank Holidays
Salary: £25000- £29000 depending on experience
