Primary SEND Teaching Assistant
This is a general classroom-based SEND role, where you will support multiple pupils rather than being solely 1:1, although some individual support may be required. The school is looking for someone to start in September, with the opportunity to begin earlier to support transition and integration.
The role would suit someone who is confident working across different year groups and able to adapt their support to meet a range of needs including ASD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils with SEND across the classroom environment
* Assisting teachers with inclusive lesson delivery
* Delivering small-group interventions where required
* Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
* Encouraging engagement and participation in learning
* Working as part of a wider support team
