Role: Construction Manager (Interior Office Fit-Out)
Location: London (sites across the M25)

Overview
Responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for site delivery, quality, health & safety, and programme
Manage Site Managers and subcontractors across multiple projects
Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and contracts
Lead site inductions, toolbox talks, and enforce H&S compliance
Coordinate with Project Managers, QS, and Commercial teams
Monitor progress against programme and implement recovery plans
Manage site logistics, materials, and sequencing
Inspect works and manage snagging through to completion
Attend progress meetings and provide regular reports
Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and statutory requirements

Skills & Qualifications

Ideally holds a degree in Construction Management or related field
SMSTS and CSCS Card
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience managing large-scale projects
Strong knowledge of building regulations and H&S

Project Type: Design & Build commercial office fit-out
Scope: CAT A & CAT B works
Project Value: £200,000 – £1,000,000
Programme Duration: Typically 6–8 weeks
Location: London (within the M25)

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in interior office fit-out projects (this is essential)
Willingness to travel to sites across the M25
Proficient in Microsoft Project – must be capable of creating and actively managing construction programmes using this softwareGabriele Omarini
